Should I bring my kids to the wedding?

If you would like your little one(s) to join the celebration with you, they are welcome. If you would like to enjoy a kid-free night of revelry, that's great too. If you would like to bring your kids to Boulder, but not to the wedding, here are a few options for local sitting services:

Which airport should I fly into to get to Boulder?
Denver International Airport is the closest major airport; it is approximately one hour by car from the airport to Boulder.

Do I need to rent a car?
This is up to you. There are transportation options available from the airport to Boulder. On the day of the wedding, we will be providing transportation from the hotels to the ceremony/reception, and back to the hotels once the festivities are over.

What is the best way to get to and from the wedding and reception?
Shuttles will be provided for all four of the hotels recommended on the accommodations page. Please be ready to go and in the lobby of the hotel by 3pm if you want to catch the shuttle. This will allow us to start on time at 4pm. Return shuttles to all four hotels (and the after party!) will be provided over the course of the evening. Alternatively, taxis and Uber are available in Boulder, although service is limited compared to large cities. Finally, if you plan to drive yourself, please note that parking is limited.

Shuttles will be provided between hotels and the wedding venue according to the following schedule:

  • 3:00pm - 1st pickups at St. Julien and Millenium Harvest Hotel
  • 3:10pm - 1st pickups at Boulderado and Boulder Marriott
  • 3:30pm - 2nd pickups at St. Julien and Millenium Harvest Hotel 
  • 3:40pm - 2nd pickups at Boulderado and Boulder Marriott
  • 8:30pm - 1st shuttle departs venue for hotel drop-offs
  • 9:30pm - 2nd shuttled departs venue for hotel drop-offs
  • 10:00pm - 3rd/Final shuttle departs venue for Outback and hotel drop-offs

If you are able to catch one of the earlier shuttles from the hotels to the venue, please do.  There will not be enough room for everyone to arrive via the 2nd pickup. Also, if you are not staying at one of the designated hotels, please feel free to still go to one of the hotels to catch the shuttle to avoid driving yourself. If you're driving yourself to and from the wedding, please note that parking is limited.  Thanks!

What is the best way to get to the afterparty?
The 10pm shuttle will drop guests attending the afterparty off at the Outback before continuing on to the hotel dropoffs. After the afterparty, please take a taxi or Uber home safely!

What is the best way to get to and from brunch the following morning?
Brunch will be open house style, so please feel free to come and go as you please between 10am and 2pm. Parking can be challenging at Chautauqua, so taxis, Uber or carpooling are probably your best bets. Alternatively, you can take public transportation, or even walk :-) If you do decide to drive, we recommend trying the lots off of 12th St or street parking nearby, if the main lots off of Chautauqua Green are full. Here's a map for reference. Seriously though, parking is limited at Chautauqua.
